---TAHAAN REVIEW-----

STORY- set in paradise on earth `KASHMIR` A story of a young child who can do ANYTHING  to get his beloved donkey back, which had to be sold due to urgent need of money,,,,

Missed it last year,..... it was released last year, cudnt see it that time,,
i`ve been searching this movie all over, finally go its dvd in mangalore
on a day in which i saw delhi 6 {ok} and dev d { rubbish} and was losing faith in hindi movies, tahaan came as a breather

Tahaan is also the story of present-day Kashmir and cross-border terrorism, and of course, of the test that the little boy is put to in the name of unconditional friendship.
how a terrorist uses little boy`s innocence for whom getting his donkey back was paramount as a tool for delivery of bombs,RDX etc is spell binding

little things in the movie like the kids who dress up as militants and play hide and seek shotout is touching,,, it gives a picture of the condition of children in KASHMIR , who despite being in a curtain of fever 24*7 enjoy life to the fullest
they love their land even if it rains bombs evry day
hats off to their spirit
the depiction of beautiful kasmir, its picturesque landscapes, waters, mountains surely signify it being called as `heaven on earth`

all actors are highly efficient ,,, rahul bose, anupam kher, viktor banerjee
but the real winner was the little boy who portrays his character as good as a pro ,his charm, innocence, childishness, cry evrything you can relate to

while watching the movie, i was thinking about RAHUL BOSE coming to manipal on 28th feb, and i thought how lucky i am
will try for a pic with him surely :)

director Santosh Sivan strikes the right chord with this film, one wonders why such a palpable insight into Kashmir was missing in films dealing with the same issues.

I will not say anything more ..  watch it, it will touch you beyond anything that has touched you recently............
my rating 9.5/10

-The amazing anti-India syllabus of Pak madrassas-

"India was part of Pakistan before 1947.

In the 1965 war, Pakistan conquered several areas of India and staring at a certain defeat, New Delhi requested the United Nations to arrange for a ceasefire.

During the 1971 war, the Pakistan Army  demonstrated great courage and valour and inflicted humiliating blows on the Indian forces on both the Eastern and Western fronts."

This excerpts may puzzle you, but according to some madrasas in Pakistan, it is nothing, but history. Ten year olds in those madrassas are injected with such and more distorted 'facts', says a confidential Intelligence Bureau report.

The report says that there are around 6,000 madrasas in Pakistan, most of which, an official said, are rooted in such a culture of hate.

"At least half of the madrassas in Pakistan adopt the Lashkar's curriculum and at present there are around 5,83,000 students studying in such madrassas."

"Though most students are from Pakistan, there are also around 16,000 Afghan children and some 18,000 foreign students," the official said.

The report says that outfits like the LeT are very choosy about the induction into such schools.

"They pick and chose children from very poor families. Till, the education is complete, they are taken care of and the families are given some money each month," the officer said.

- PAK KNOWS  IT CAN`T COMPETE WITH INDIA,, SO THERE`S NO OPTION BUT TO DROP THIS LOW`

SURELY DIFFICULT TO TAKE BUT I THINK ITS NOTHING MORE THEN  ANOTHER EXPOSURE OF ITS WEAKNESS

PAK REALLY NEEDS TO GROW UP,,,,,,,,,,,,

---FATHER AT 13----

BOY dad Alfie Patten yesterday admitted he does not know how much nappies cost

— but said: “I think it’s a lot.”
Baby-faced Alfie, who is 13 but looks more like eight, became a father four days ago

when his girlfriend Chantelle Steadman gave birth to 7lb 3oz Maisie Roxanne

He told how he and Chantelle, 15, decided against an abortion after discovering she was pregnant.

The shy lad, whose voice has not yet broken, said: “I thought it would be good to have a baby.

“I didn’t think about how we would afford it. I don’t really get pocket money. My dad sometimes gives me £10.”

Alfie, who is just 4ft tall, added: “When my mum found out, I thought I was going to get in trouble. We wanted to have the baby but were worried how people would react.

“I didn’t know what it would be like to be a dad. I will be good, though, and care for it.”

Alfie's story, broken exclusively by The Sun today has sparked a huge political storm with Tory leader David Cameron saying: "When I saw these pictures this morning, I just thought how worrying that in Britain today children are having children.

"I hope that somehow these children grow up into responsible parents but the truth is parenthood is just not something they should be thinking about right now."

ALFIE BOTTLE FEEDS HIS DAUGHTER-CARING,, NO?

              Feeding, nappies... and PlayStation :)

As he went on the PlayStation with 15-year-old girlfriend Chantelle Steadman, he added: “I think we’ll be good parents. I’ll have to work extra hard at school.

GOOD LUCK BOY/MAN/FATHER
AM CONFUSED WHAT TO CALL HIM ?

Section 49-O of the Constitution

Do you know that there is a system in our constitution, as per the 1969 act, in section "49-O" that a person can go to the polling booth,
confirm his identity, get his finger marked and convey the presiding election officer that he doesn't want to vote anyone!

Yes such a feature is available, but obviously these seemingly notorious leaders have never disclosed it. This is called "49-O".

Though 49’O is a benign provision, and would not affect the election results. But it will be a proof of our disapproval of unworthy candidates. Till now, non-participation in election is considered as silent consent. But This provision will bring our DISSENT to the surface.

This would bring fear into parties and hence look for genuine candidates for their parties for election. This would change the way, of our whole political system... it is seemingly surprising why the election commission has not revealed such a feature to the public....

Please spread this news to as many as you know... Seems to be a wonderful weapon against corrupt parties in India... show your power, expressing your desire not to vote for anybody, is even more powerful than voting... so don't miss your chance.

So either vote, or vote not to vote (vote 49-O) and pass this info on...

"Please forward this mail to as many as possible, so that we, the people of India, can really use this power to save our nation"

Use your voting right for a better INDIA.
